Daryl has been proudly working with wood for a living since 2002. He designs and handcrafts each piece himself from local and exotic hardwoods under the name Breakers Woodworking. Apart from milling his own wood, he collects end pieces that are discarded from a factory in Nova Scoita that would otherwise have been burned or thrown into a landfill. Daryl rescues these remant pieces to recycle them into works of art that can be used everyday.
"I saw these end pieces being wasted when they could be recycled into a thing of beauty and used everyday"
