Victoria Grey | Sense and SensibiliTea
+1830s Style Earl Grey+
Earl Grey comes from a criminal and sordid past. Its first known appearance came in the 1839s as documented in court proceedings due to a case of forgery. Two tea merchants sued each other over the rights to sell this tea which was forgery of an expensive chinese tea. These merchants suceeded in getting this tea banned, but it was not long before it reappeared first under the name Grey's Mixture, and eventually earl grey. We try to capture that orginial flavour.
Ingredients: Black Teas, Bergamot, Vanilla, Lavender.

Victoria Grey- 1830s Style Earl Grey | Sense + SensibiliTea
Sense and SensibiliTea are the tea creations of Wanda and Andrew Aulenback. Their company started from humble roots. It began in a make shift 18th century tea parlour. Having hosted many fully costumed period teas, Wanda decided to take the next step, and begin research to make sure the teas she was serving were accurate to the various time periods they were playing in. So began Sense and SensibiliTea.
"We want everyone to not only enjoy an excellent cup of tea, but to also learn a little bit of history in the process. It's like time travel in a cup!”
