Pat Shattuck is originally from Bedford, Nova Scotia and now lives in Portuguese Cove, N. S., where the ocean and natural setting inspire her. She began painting with water colours at age 18, following in the footsteps of her grandfather and uncle.
Pat's subjects vary from nature and rural beauty to city street scenes featuring the old architecture of Halifax, which she greatly admires. She works in watercolour, or watercolour with ink. Her paintings have " homes" in private collections in Canada , the U.S., Europe and Costa Rica.
