Fundy Fog Soap | Hen Of The Woods
Hen of the Woods Artisan Acres is a small farm and soapery owned and operated by Emily Rogers from her 30 acre homestead at the base of the south mountain, in the Annapolis Valley. In her loft studio she creates her signature line of artisan soaps, hydrosols and herbal body products. She sources local, organic and traditional ingredients and also grows and processes some of her own botanicals from her lavender field and herb gardens.
"We aim to tread lightly on the earth by sourcing package free ingredients from ethical companies and local farms (including our own), and choosing plastic-free packaging whenever possible. We source our ingredients as close to home and in the most natural form possible. Traditional ingredients like raw tallow and beeswax which we source and render from local small farms; local raw honey and oils which we infuse with botanical ingredients like locally grown lavender, and wild foraged spruce tips and rose petals."
