NovelTea is a proud, female-owned (mother-in-law and daughter-in-law team) East Coast Canadian Company based out of Truro, N.S. Established in 2014, NovelTea started as a bookstore that sold coffee and tea. In 2016 after quickly realizing that their community had a desire to enjoy their love of reading in different ways, the NovelTea team was inspiration to create and sell their own book-themed products in the cafe.

"In 2020, a devastating fire destroyed our original bookstore-cafe location, which prompted us to re-imagine the potential of the bookstore side of our business and what it could offer the book community.
