The Bluenose II in Lunenburg | Downtown Sketcher
The Bluenose was a famous Canadian fishing schooner built in 1921 that went on to win the International Fishermen's Trophy 17 consecutive times, cementing its status as a legend. In 1963, a replica called the Bluenose II was built in Lunenburg using the original plans, and it continues to serve as a "sailing ambassador" for Nova Scotia, offering tours and promoting tourism.
